Surprisingly enough, gutters have an effect on the basement of your home. If they’re not maintained properly, they will not be able to send water away from your home and instead it will pour down the outer walls directly into the foundation.

Pipes

Unfortunately, pipes can age and also explode, resulting in unexpected and sudden flooding.
